Zhihua Josh HAN used to work as a postdoc in Rockefeller University, New York, and later Assistant Professor in the Medical School of East Tennessee State University. After joining the law industry, he worked as paralegal for Keller & Rolle Law Firm, lawyers for EpiMED research institute and Riverstone medical institute in Seattle, Washington, and patent agent for Cascadia Intellectual Property Bureau in Seattle, Washington.

During his work in law, he drafted and submitted patent applications in life science, such as animal models; conducted IP investment portfolio analysis, environment analysis, license research, invention assessment, market analysis and precise plans for all the activities of the companies and review of the significance to business; offered opinions about patentability, infringement and invalidation; provided consultation to clients about patent, licensing, trademark, copyright and contract, including negotiation, execution and defense. He is now a Senior Advisor of the firm.
