TAKANO Hiroshi joined the R&D center of Panasonic in 2000 for optical design, and transferred to IP department for new patent application and R&D patent alert. In 2007, he joined Watson & Band Law Offices as a partner and worked on patent infringement litigations. In 2009, he joined Kangxin IP Agency as the general partner for Asia, and was responsible for civil and criminal litigations of large-scale infringement for Sharp, Yonex, Mitsubishi, etc. in 2012, he founded Ekio IP Consulting Co. Ltd, and was mainly responsible for overseas patent risk alert and circumvention for large Chinese state-owned enterprises.

Since 2007, he has been invited as lecturer for Jetro, Japan Intellectual Property Association, AIPPI in Japan, State Intellectual Property Office of China, Beijing Intellectual Property Office, etc. He is now a Senior Advisor of the firm.
